PUNCTUM: North East Photography Collective
We are a lens-based artists' collective located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. Our mission is to generate exhibition and project opportunities for photographic artists in the region, and to provide an artist led support network to benefit the members of our collective.
We will present challenging photographic exhibitions to engage a wide audience and make contemporary photography accessible to the people of our region and beyond.
We aim to provide a varied educational programme of events, to share photographic skills, knowledge and experiences through talks and participatory projects.
Through Punctum we will raise awareness of photographic artists and their practice, creating a space for thought and project development open to all.
